At heart maybe I am a little crazy...

Two years ago was one crazy idea that just went from a dart thrown into a map into my starting over as a person. That also started the world's worst case of wanderlust, me braving train stations across Europe and parts beyond. From Argentina for tango lessons to a hunt through the Paris Opera house and a couple of weekends inspired by those same darts. Over the last two years that map has been filled with holes that became my various between roles and my reminder of my ongoing process into finding myself.

Around the same time as the map and darts was my up and moving to England. Angel had just ended and that meant no more Dru, so I basically up and split, keeping the condo in LA but finding myself in London. What had been planned as 6 months of a break have become my getting the apartment calling England my second home.

Now that map is full of holes and my journal full of adventures I would have never even dreamed otherwise. So its finally time for a few new maps to inspire a few new tales of adventure and a few more goals knocked off the list.

For now I remember Madrid, one last minute trip inspired by the sudden desire for a change of scene. British weather can drain a person so maybe all I needed was a little sunshine and that only grew into a new passion: nailing a perfect paso doble. All it took was some flyer miles and 3 nights of lessons to kick start the wanderlust streak. Since that trip I'm now loving the challenge of finding myself and the dancer I was before the acing bug bit via the tango, paso doble and the mambo.
